You can watch Yellow Wood recording their eagerly anticipated full length debut (following two stellar EP's) live at ustream.tv - may not be something a casual fan or non-fan would be into, but it's an interesting new way to follow a band from early stages of recording to holding the finished product in your hands. It's like a live documentary/reality series with substance. I can see more bands doing this sort of live interactivity down the road (Phog Lounge is also doing this sort of live streaming for many of its shows and events now as well).
